Friday night I was at my favorite bar in Brevard hollerin' at the ladies.
Bartender Jeff has pretty good taste in music, but for some reason he decided to tune the speakers to XM Radio's '30 Days of Coldplay' marathon.
I don't dislike the band, but after about four songs I was ready to hear something else.
Jeff was having none of it. Insisting this was helping my chances with the girls because "Coldplay gets the ladies in the mood," I ended up listening to five hours of Coldplay before I went home alone.
Yeah, five hours. Live album and even the Christmas song.
Sorry, but that's way too much Coldplay for one day, much less a whole month.
I'd be okay if I went 30 days without Coldplay at this point.
Instead, I'd much rather listen to the new GirlTalk album which is available for download at www.illegal-art.net.
